Tinny isn't worried about the backlash of auto-tune and plans to use the technique in future projects. Tinny also tells Ghana Music.com of his current project - the new album to the follow-up of “Kaa Buu Ame”'. "Hope fully by this week the album should be out", he says.

Of late you can hear the robotic, processed sound of the plug-in on recent hit songs of Tinny but he quickly drops in the phone interview that he will be releasing a new version of Ringtone featuring Kwaw Kese which he did not rap/sing in auto tune. Watch Ringtone by Tinny

Hiphop/hiplife rapper, Tinny used the auto-tune prominently on his last year's “Ringtone” single which had so many remixes with Asem, Kazuka, Olonka, Ayigbe Edem, Richie, Bandana, Okyeame Kwame saying that he "loves using auto-tune but it’s not really about the auto tune that makes the song a hit but it's the lyrics.

It’s also heard on the remix of 4x4’s “Hot Girls.com” remix and Castro’s “Eye Mu Fe” remix and the latest banger, “Swagger Like Us” by Asem, Ayigbe Edem, Papi of 5five and Richie.

Tinny has also popularized the use of auto tune in Ghana making active use of it in his songs, a style that has since gone on to be imitated by numerous other hiphop, R&B and pop-music artists such as T Pain (who popularized it) Lil Wayne and Snoop Dogg.
