Afro pop female singer, Rebecca Acheampong better known in the entertainment industry circles has entered the world of celebrity endorsements with Glo Telecommunication Company. And the timing is just perfect for her deal which is speculated to be over $400, 000 (four hundred thousand dollars). View Photos from GLO signs Becca as an ambassador.


GLO Telecommunication Company, a leading telecommunication company based in Nigeria which is yet to start operations in Ghana is proving that with a little help from Becca and their seventeen already signed ambassadors, they will roll out excellent and innovative telecommunications services that will have a positive impact on every Ghanaian.

The already signed ambassadors are Black Stars striker, Manuel Junior Agogo, Ayigbe Edem, Nii Addo Quaynor 'Tinny', Amakye Dede, Paapa Yankson, George Kwabena Aidoo aka Kwabena Kwabena, Gyedu Blay Ambolley, Jackie Appiah, Van Vicker, Irene Logan, Nadia Buari, Nana Wiafe Asante Mensah (ASEM), Pat Thomas, Reggie Rockstone, Sherifatu Gunu and Wutah.

At the short press conference today, Becca beamed with smiles that she has always wanted to part of this team and was excited when South African legend, Hugh Masekela invited Dr Mike Adenuga, Chairman of Globacom for her album launch.


Under the terms of the deal, Becca will appear in online, print and TV adverts promoting the service when they commence operations.


John Vasikaran, a GLO representative also described Becca as a young, enterprising, vivacious and talented musician who shares their values of youthful positive energy and innovativeness thus making her deserve the special honour of been a GLO Ambassador.
