Royal Echoes, a young, talented group from Ho in the Volta Region thrilled a near capacity crowd last Saturday at the Alliance Française with a series of tracks that encompass a variety of music genres.
Performing at the Alliance Française during the official launch of New Music Ghana 2010, an initiative by the Institute for Music and Development, the group dazzled with tunes laced with borborbor and other rhythms that drew cheers and applause.

For the first time in many years Dunkwa-on-Offin added colour to this years Ghana@53 independence day bash when ageless rapper Lord Kenya alongside Barosky, Waakye (Prince Yawson), Adwoa Smart, Echolac and other comedians lit the city with scintillating performances at the annual Solar FM independence Bash.
The street carnival took place on one of the principal streets of the town which stretches from the GCB building through to the premises of Solar FM to Dunkwa Soro.

It was all fun and exciting when the MTN Ghana Music Awards train stopped in the twin city of Sekondi-Takoradi last week.
The music jam was in celebration of Ghana's 53rd independence and the centenary celebration of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, the illustrious son of the region who championed the struggle for Ghana's liberty from Great Britain in 1957.
